It is a fan fiction by Robert and myself. (More or less this is my side of it.) "It's mainly about our favorite characters and our own characters being binded into one dimension as they fight along side each other to save humanity as they know it!" Expect craziness, lots of characters, and crossover mania. It's more OC fiction if you think about. Here's Robert's website
Warning though, I've never been known for writing fanfiction. (Other than the really old Jewels of Life fanfic for Zelda.)
Copyright stuff, reminders,
Characters and settings are copyrighted to their respectful owners in both Robert's and my REM, as well as our own characters belong to us, and those who join in belong to themselves, ect, pairings (at least in mine, I have no clue in Robert's) are either limited to Canon or are just OCs with OCs you get the point, This fic could be considered rated T for blood and mild cursing, blah blah, characters are protrayed (excuse spelling) usually as we see them, so yeah, Oh yes one more thing. Who ever owns the White Sadan, you left your lights on.
As characters come up I will put up what they look like both my own and others, either here or in the chappie they're in. Often how I draw them.
As of now:

Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer; when was the last time I saw him?
----------
~Serena Glade~
A strange sight to see, indeed, within a dream. A jester maren and a dreamer among the dream of another, both waiting for a friend. The lurid light of dusk and twilight covers the forest and clearing; fireflies' wispy glow spread into the darkness.
"Where is he?" NiGHTS asked looking about in confusion around the forest-esque area. Flying around in circles and weaving inbetween the trees wasn't going to help much either.
"How should I know? I only urged him to come here," CLin answered ploping down on the grass sitting cross-legged. She looked up at the twilight coloured sky with a look of worry on her face. Okay, so I'm worried about Robert. The tall trees cast dark shadows down her pale face as she tried to wait with Hydri flora, the colour of oil with every flowers head imaginable, clustered around her in groups.
Of course, NiGHTS was now flying back through the enigmatic maze of trees to see if their friend had gotten lost. The nightmaren weaving though every passageway and path in simple pursue of a friend. Oblivious, it seemed to the living shadow now wandering towards the glade.
![]()
"You haven't changed a bit, haven't you," called a wind-whisper voice drawing out the words like syrup. A fluid shadow form suggesting a human-shape moved toward the brown-haired girl. It's eyes, it's gaze locked onto hers, were a lurid red. The shadow smiled no bared it's teeth at her which were sharp and needle-thin. Tendrils of darkness twisted and curled into wisps that disappeared into the air. A clawed hand reached out to CLin palm up almost in greeting. She jumped and yelled at the creature.
"Hell no! I'm done with dealing with you; you're surposed to be dead!" She backed away glaring with hatred. Her body shook with fear. He was killed, I saw it. I know it happened, Reala himself did it. Shaking his head almost in sympthy, he spoke again," CLin, CLin, *steps ever closer and shakes head* CLin, *shakes head once more* You thought I was dead didn't you?" The shadow grinned gruesomely.
"Let's see you ,Shin-ku, got stabbed in the heart by the Prince of Nightmare himself, thrown into the Void. Yeah that would make a person think." She backed away searching behind her for something to either throw or at least hit him with.
"Oh, really touching, I have someone for you to.. meet."
The last thing she sees after that that is enveloped by shifting shadow. Insert long muffled scream. No one sees him takes his leave and his hostage in tow.
-----------
~Yume Maze~ (The part of Serena Glade that we last saw NiGHTS)
NiGHTS was bored. There was no sign of Robert. All puzzles were completed. Octopaw wasn't around nearby and of course NiGHTS just managed to set a new record for the fastest dream missions completed since Kira's departure. Unknowst though. It finally occured to him/her that CLin might get into trouble without him/her there and was taking the quickest path back. Some time after weaving through the flora maze was rewarded with enterance into the Glade. But the dreamer was no where to be found.
"This wasn't what I expected." With that NiGHTS was off, abit in a bit of a panic, searching for yet another.

~High Hill Middle School~
The last bell had run and everyone was going home, well almost everyone.
"Renku!" The red-haired tan-skinned boy had barely enough time to turn around till a girl wearing the red version of the girl's uniform plowed into him. Blue eyes full of confusion gazed back at the girl's gold-black ones. "What's wrong Naomi," he asked prompting a repeat from her.
"A Void! Masoku! He's back!"
"Naomi, calm down, calm down, he can't be. We saw what happened to him," he coaxed wishing to know why she was this distressed. "He's back." She hissed in harsh tone. "I saw him, he was in the school and disappeared into the mirror. The power he gained from defeating Fection."
"You're seeing things." He shook his head.
"I felt his presence as well."
"Not someone elses?" Renku was raising an eyebrow at that. She's rather accurate with that.
"His, but darker."
"Not my own?" Naomi promptly slapped him and turned walking away. He was left rubbing his cheek. Over seven hundred years old and I still get my butt kicked by a girl younger than me.
~???~
Shin-ku was almost to his meeting point, his domain. Taking a detour to get here through reality was a small price to pay to get here faster. The girl had fainted half-way through the trip. Not dead. They need her alive, even if I say otherwise. The surroundings seemed to be a literal hall of mirrors. All of of which were reflecting different things. He set CLin down upon the glass tile and shifted out of his human form. Nothing less than a nightmare to those who had tred these passageways, yet it was calming to him. The girl started to move, waking from her unconious state.
"Where whe- You brought me back... to here?" She was wide-eyed her expression reflected in those mirrors. The area was as cold as ice and seemed to become even more so when a cloaked figure emerged from the mirror behind Shin-ku. CLin backed away only to meet the cold embrace of glass.
"Wha- What do you want..!!!" She shouted trying to find a way out. The cloaked figure only took a moment to speak in a low flowing voice.
"We have plans for you,.... Hero of the Dawn." The figure threw back his hood.
"No it can't be--------!"
![]()
~Reflection~
The figure had long light purple hair flowing down his shoulders and over one eye.
There was a black marking under each eye. His eyes were deep red contrasting with his pale skin. Albino pale I should say.
He wore a dark purple cap with a red jewel in the center surrounded by a gold border.
"No it can't be, you're from a freaking video game," she shouted regaining a normal stance.
"Vaati, the wind mage I am at your service," Shin-ku said stooping into a low bow. Imagine that, a shadow bowing.
The mage payed him no heed though, keeping his gaze upon CLin. "You should pay more respect for someone who can kill you in
an instant," Vaati said to the brown-hair grey-eyed girl as strong gusts of wind whipped around her preventing her from excaping.
With a wave of his hand CLin was sent crashing, hard, into the wall of mirrors senting glass shards everywhere. A cut on her forehead
bled, a line of red against pale skin.
"It may be in my best interests to keep you alive but it would be better to keep quiet just the same," He said as the wind heaved her up
into the air in above him. Then to right in front of him. "If not, you'd make a nice statue in the ruins that this shadow-beast so fondly mentioned to me."
CLin shook where she stood. It's just-- What the hell am I to think, it's a dream/nightmare so why can't I wake up?
~High Hills Middle School~
"Where did you say the mirror was?" Renku asked searching for the well mirror that Naomi said she saw Masoku go through. That's a mouthful.
"Behind the desk," she replied briskly. He went behind the desk testing the mirror and smiling when he met no resistence from putting his hand into the mirror.
"Ready to go for a ride?" "What---!" He grabs her hand and jumps in.
~Dream Gate~
"Are you sure you didn't see them," NiGHTS praticatlly yelled at Enigma.
"I told you I didn't."
"Can you help me look for them?" NiGHTS was figeting and seemed like s/he didn't want to stay still.
Enigma sighed, if he refused NiGHTS would never let him off the hook but going along with one of the hyper jester marens plans always felt like a wild goose chase. Only one choice. "Sure." What?!
"Yippee!" NiGHTS pulls him into a crushing hug. "NiGHTS"
"Yeah?"
"I can't breathe."
"Oh." He let go looking down at his feet. "Sorry" NiGHTS then shot off head first into the search.
"Come on!"
I'm going to regret ever doing this. The cloaked maren sighed again and started flying after NiGHTS. Sunset's gonna kill me if he's right.
~Serera Glade~
"What is this place?" Naomi said with awe as she looked around. The twilight atmosphere was calming and cool. Trees sporting fall forlage towered over the two; leaves twirled and danced in the wind. The Hydri flowers bloomed in clusters around them and the glade. Yet with all this it still semmed as though something was amiss.
"It seems mirror teleporting isn't really all that reliable." Now Renku was amused. So the idiot rigged a trap did he? Let's see what that shadow of a man left as a present.
Within the forest maze there was the sound of a shamisen playing a haunting melody. It echoed amongst the trees into the glade. The look on Naomi's face became empty as she started to walk toward the sound. She walked with a steadiness seen only in sleepwalking, ignoring the Void of Time as she passed. He grabbed her arm and turned her around meeting the gaze of empty eyes. Naomi just shook him off and coninued her quickened pace.
"Wait!" Renku ran after her trying to get ahead. Flashes of the area were at the edge of his vision. Trees, plants,... and a glint of silver? He stopped and looked at the object. Threads of silk weaved between the trees. He glanced up, a complex web of silk with... a woman? A woman sitting in the center playing the shamisen within a thin orb of silk. She was watching Naomi walk towards her. Looking up from her prize, the woman beckoned with one hand towards Renku. She stood upright and walked through the orb stepping down using the threads as support. She smiled exposing large spider-like fangs, grabbed the girl with one arm, and placed her where her neck was in full view. Six more arms became visible amid the folds of her clothing.
"Naomi!" He lunged forward, his hourglass necklace becoming a thin sword. The woman just grabbed him with one of those many arms and threw him into the brush.
"Don't worry, little one, you'll be with her soon enough," She turned back to Naomi opening her mouth, curved fangs in full view and was about to bite.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER!" He charged once again catching the spider demon off guard and cut the arm that held Naomi off. Renku caught her and placed her down laying against a tree. The demon screeched and came after him on six arms the last using the instrument as an effective weapon.
"Hey Jorôgumo!" A flash of red-orange hair and lavender outfit promptly shot like a rocket at the demon forcing her into the web causing the threads to wrap around both. The maren kicked off shooting into the air for another round. The Void of Time just stared in disbelief with his mouth agap.
![]()
"Hey you, stop staring and help me out!" she yelled wrapping the creature in her own webbing. The demon was already stressing the thread as some strings have already snapped. Renku blinked but readied the sword for a stab, the hourglass on the sword emitting a red-blue glow as he aimed for the heart. As he finished the swing, the sword let out a flash. The maren blinked herself, what was once a demon masurading as a woman became the corpse of a spider half the size with a skull pattern on it's abdomen.
"That's different," she said inching away from it as it erupted into blue flame.
"Who are- What are you and why did you help us?" Renku's face was questioning his sword now pointed at her.
"Hold up, smart mouth! The name's Sunset, I'm a nightmaren, and for the record I protect dreamers,.. like you. These things have been appearing all over the place since NiGHTS went off to find a lost dreamer, CLin, and since the appearence of two different sets of strange beings.
"Wait a second, who the hell is NiGHTS?"
Kinda short chapter, will be fixed later.
~Tundris Rise~
The walls glittered like scattered jewels across the lake of darkness. In this case the center of the room as said lake, a girl in her early teens sat at
the edge looking down into her shadowy reflection. She was lightly tanned with hair light red-brown, which wisped over her face. Blue green eyes
stared intently at the rolling dark water as if it held answer or as if she was waiting for something. The girl held a hand out infront of her face
index finger outstretched toward the darkness. A flame sprung to life, flickering upon her finger. She placed it down on the water's surface
watching the fire spread into a ring then disappear. The girl sighed. Never much to do around here. Over all, it was relatively peaceful. Abit made of ice, though that might account for it.
"Kira!" The girl turned her head back toward the entrance at which a figure wearing white stood. Ice blue hair styled in downward spikes with lighter colored eyes to match. Her outfit was of a similar style all of which suggested the coldness of the ice.
"So what'cha doing here of all places, I mean other than the fact it's your domain?" Kira asked watching the frost maren without much interest.
"I suppose NiGHTS hasn't told you?"
"CStorm, you of all of em should know that I haven't seen a sign of the jester since Monday." She returned her attention back to the darkness which seemed to be moving outward from the middle in waves. CStorm turned to leave but Kira stopped her with an outstretched arm.
"Wait for it." The liquid shadow was shooting upward in bursts then exploded outward, spraying the entirety of the room and disappearing. At the center now was a group of three, one was a shadow with lurid eyes; the next was a wind mage with a pale brown haired girl in tow. The girl was silent for the moment but was glaring daggers at the two.
Now Kira had a grin plastered on her face, a grin that went ear to ear. Here comes the fun.
~The Void~
Shifting, changing, a pitch black fog of darkness, the destiation of those whom are deemed too dangerous for anyone to handle.
"LAMENT! Where the hell are you?!" A demoness with deep red hued hair and pink-purple eyes wandered this nothingness. She scanned the landscape, if you can consider this place having landscape, for the voiceless voice. A figure shimmered behind the demoness leaning to the side with her arms crossed. She had blue hair and striking green eyes, which were focused on the creature before her. The demoness sighed and said, "What, no witty comeback, no commentary, hell, not even a word?"
The girl shook her head and placed a scroll into the creature's hands and simply walked away prompting another comment from the firey haired demoness.
"Honestly." She shook her head and turned to opening the scroll.
Byra, It has come to my attention that you could be of a worthy ally in my plans and I offer you the chance to join my cause ( "Bah!") the other choice of course is death. ( "Like that means anything to me." Byra rolled her eyes.) I give you three days, dusk on the last being your deadline.
~The Mage of Winds
"Never the humble one were you," She asked casting a hollow glance upwards and then burning the scroll. "Up yours Vaati, If you are listening there's my answer!"
A small winged eye-thing batted it's wings and flew back to where it came from. (If you don't know, think of what he surrounds himself with in Minish Cap in his first Demon form, which isn't the eye-bat thing.)

~Serena Glade~
"Wait a second, who the hell is NiGHTS?" Renku's face was full of confusion his gaze flickering back and forward from Sunset to Naomi, who has now awakened. Sunset started pacing back and forward herself.
"How should I put this, NiGHTS is a Nightmaren, formally rebel, who usually is the one to show dreamers the expance of their dreams, face their fears, and basically fits the hyperactive hero mold." She grinned somewhat at this, considering that's how Enigma refers to her.
"This is all a dream?" Sunset looked surprised at this and continued on.
"Not the way you came here." She started walking off into the rest of the maze and gestured back at them to follow. Naomi was still somewhat out of it so Ren guided her along the way. The maze seemed to disappear and soon they all were at the start of the dream which led to a white space and a view of another dream.
"This is as far as I can take you without causing trouble, what you see before you is the road ahead and until I can finish off the rest of the youkai I can't continue with you. I'll catch up with ya later." The genie-like maren shook her head again. "You take care, ya hear?"
"And where do you think we are going?" He was getting tired of her missing the point.
"If ya want a start go to the ruins, just think about, well, ruins when you step from this area." Sunset gestured to the white space beyond with a look of contempt. Ren sighed.
"This sounds like something out of a children's Disney movie."
"What else?" Naomi said about to go on without him.
"Ya think?" Sunset answered herself and started back into the maze and disappeared without a trace. Leaving the two once again in confusion. Both passed a glace between them and then jumped, hoping for the best.

~Derx Musa~
"You really don't seem to get the point do you?" Enigma was twitching after having to deal with NiGHTS and his uncanny ability to be everywhere but where someone is. "They are not here. CLin. Robert. The lot of them. Not. Here."
"Then where do you think they are?" NiGHTS replied flying circles around the landscape looking for something.
"Honestly, I don't know. They might be at the Ruins or , who knows, Tundris Rise." He raised his hands in frustration. "All I know is that they are not here."
"Hey thats a--" A loud scream echoed through the dry desert air followed by NiGHTS shooting off to the source. Only stopping to turn it's head back to yell at Enigma, "Come On!"
"I swear this , aw hell with it." With that Enigma followed, his cloak flowing in the wind as he shot off as well.
A flashes of silver was all they could see of the girl as she attempted to take down three different youkai with her sword. The Baku drew away from the fray and focused it's attention on the two maren with a gleam in it's eye. Enigma held NiGHTS back, "I hope you realized what that was before you go running into it." The Jester maren blinked, glancing back to the creature then the fight. The girl didn't seem to have any trouble with the other two. Using sword and spells seemed to be helping.
"What is it?" NiGHTS really didn't seem all that worried about what happened to him, just what could happen to the dreamer.
"Baku, nightmare eater." Enigma crossed his arms. "There's nothing we can do."
"That's what you say." The maren shot off going for the giant skeleton instead with a paraloop. The Gashadokuro tried to grab him with one bony hand while the other was reaching to grab the girl. NiGHTS drill dashed the skeleton in the head just to rebound off. The youkai had barely a scratch. Of course that didn't mean it didn't make it angry, quite the contrary. The skeleton went into a rage attcking everything insight and killed off the other youkai, not the Baku though. The girl was hit, grazed by it's blow, but that was enough to start ruby red blood flowing from her arm. She switched her sword to her other arm and continued fighting. Enigma shook his head and pulled two chakrams from his cloak and aimed one at the nightmaren eater and threw it in an arc striking a hit wounding it as it curved back to him. Bullseye.
The Baku disappeared into smoke with a laugh leaving Enigma in confusion. The skeleton, of course, still was focusing on NiGHTS and the girl. The head wasn't it's weak spot, NiGHTS already tried that. The limbs seemed inpervious to damage as well. What about the ribcage? He aimed the chakrams for the ribcage and threw both in an arc. Only one made it's mark causing the creature to stagger forward. NiGHTS glanced back at him and then at the girl both of which had a smug smirk. There's your chance. She fired a spell of light, wind, and darkness at the spots while NiGHTS paralooped around the ribs. Shuddering, shaking, the Gashadokuro fell to pieces, becoming only a pile of bones which reduced in size to the likeness of a Stalfos which burst into blue flames leaving no trace. The girl staggered forward barely standing from blood loss. NIGHTS steadied her and tried to tend to her wound just to have her pull her arm away. "I'm fine, thank you, and I'll be fine," she huffed.
"Who are you," Enigma said crossing his arm trying to hide his worry.
"Who are you then, I haven't seen that good a fighter since Shadow Link was with me." She looked up and smiled.
"But if you really want to know, It's Fara Moon."
"We've got some unwanted company." Kira held a raised hand, a ball of flame appearing above her finger. Flickering light reflected from ice all around, lurid indeed. The maren didn't even move and remained just as such in sound. Only to trade a glance with Kira, worried that she'd just throw herself straight into a fight. The wind mage barely passed a glance himself to the two though the shadow seemed more interested with the firey girl.
Pity, this looked like an interesting pair, Vaati thought. Still not really worth my time. Wind whipped around his captive, keeping her suspended in the air as he took a crystal about the size of a small coin from within his cloak. "Shin-ku." The shadow spun around, his gaze no mistake.
"Yes, Master." Vaati tossed him the crystal and prepared to start a transporation spell.
"Take care of these two and make sure you bring the girl. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter. Preferably whole. Kill any working with that pigface Ganon."
"Yes, Master." He turned away and started his spell. In moments Vaati and CLin were gone. The fireball Kira had started missed it's mark on the mage promiting a curse from her. The shadow tossed the black crystal into the remains of the lake watching as the darkness solidified into three small shapes all soon disappeared into the form of a razor whirlwind. The living shadow took his leave into the darkness, they were just as likely to attack him as the two.
The whirlwind of three shot toward Kira as she ducked, only her skirt being caught by their claws. A shield of ice surrounded her and the maren shattering on the yokai's inpact. The shards formed into large spears shooting for the center of the three all of which vered off into different directions. The ice shattered on the far walls scattering all about, the only sound except for the wind. A stunned Kira looks up in fear at the emotionless maren now in pain, blood running down from a slash on her cheek as she consentrated on a new wave of ice weapons.
"C....C..St..orm?" The red-brown haired dreamer questioned, barely managing to stammer it out. No responce, the ice-cold maren was only focusing on the three. The look in her eyes, a fury to kill.

~Palace of Winds: Dream Version~
The girl was becoming an increasing annoyance to not just Vaati, but the entire of the Palace. But Vaati was intent on going through with the spell, despite some problems. She could wait, his plan was falling into place. Just as well, the Master of Nightmares was soon to be an asset in his chances. An ace in the hole against the fools and his friends. Heh heh heh heh. It would give him two of the advantages and if his friends played it out like he expected, he'd have everything in place to get rid of Ganon and takeover. Now to just keep anyone else from realizing the truth.. Hmm. Not that it matters much, and what to do with Shin-ku? Out of the way of course.
----------
~Tundris Rise~
CStorm raised her hand as blue ice crept over the area around her. The Kamaitachi aimed from the front, an arc, all focused on her. She turned her head back, a small smile on her lips.
"It's my time,... run...., just.... please."
Kira's eyes widened. "You're not.... Wait! No! DON'T--!!!" She tried to move forward with fire gathering at her fingertips as a white light engulfs her transporting her to another dream. The nightmaren turned back to the yokai the smile gone replaced with fury. The tundria of the dream now bending to her will as everything froze over with her crystal ice once more.
"Die."
Writer's block sucks, short chappies do as well. I'm sorry.

"Let go! Let me go!" CLin struggled against the grip of two Moblins dragging her up the staircase into some tower room. The one on the right kept being kicked in the shin in her attempts at escape as well as a lucky blow below the belt. Various monsters on the route were snickering. The one on the left just rolled his eyes at the other as they reached their destination. An ornately carved wooden door leading to a room in the second highest tower was before them. The two bulldog like monsters grinned and with a grunt they heaved the girl into the room slaming the door as she landed on the stone floor with an "oof!" CLin got up wincing at the matching purple bruises that traveled both lengths of her arms. Aw just great, just perfect... not.
She rubbed her arms as she searched the room for anything that might be useful. The window, hmm... CLin tried to push the pane up. Getting a rude awakening when a spell cast on it blows her halfway across the room with a shock. Add one more bruise. Apparently Vaati's not stupid. Ow oww oow.
You can imagine the monsters' snickering going to full laughter about now please.

~Serena Glade~
The unearthy blue fire wisped into the wind leaving no trace of the yokai leaving the eternal twilight of the maze eerie to the maren. Similar sights echoed throughout the dream as the oni faded away. Orange hair bounced as she turned her head back to the exit of the forest. The wind was picking up and seeming to be waiting. Sunset sighed. That better be the last of em. Now to see what the two have messed up this time. She shook her head as she made her way out of the dream. A bright flash of light burst above causing her to flinch. Or not.
"Aaaaaaaah!"
"Oof!" Tis to say, out like a light.
Not at all done. Not at all. Sunset tapped her fingers on the ground glaring upward at the girl. Never done.
"I'm assuming you're here for a reason other than a rude landing?" She smiled as she got up. Kira replied with a smug smirk with hints of sadness behind those eyes.
"You know." Sunset glanced back at the end of forest, of the dream. "It's that bad?" She nodded as fire danced around her fingertips.
"The guys might be in trouble too."
"Indeed."

"I already told you!" Fara let out a frustrated sigh as she waved the cloaked maren off from fixing her arm. "I heal faster than most people," she muttered her gaze drifting downward as the hand on the sword tightened. Enigma leaned back frowning as Fara went back to fiddling with the bandaging on her arm. He glanced upward at NiGHTS who was lying on his back in the air above them, seemingly asleep.
"You're kidding me, you nearly had your arm sliced in half down the middle and you dismiss it as a simple flesh wound!"
"I've had worse." She shrugged and stood up using her sword as support. Silver hair whipped around her thin frame. "Thank you though."
Enigma crossed his arms, eyebrow raised, not believing this. "Even so, if you go out there on your own you won't have a chance." Fara already started walking, her wounded arm limp at her side. Her Hylian/elven looking ears twitched a few times as she stopped to turn and glare at him. Fury welled up in those moon matching eyes.
"You want to bet?" The area around her seemed to grow darker as she held her sword before her. The wind whipped dangerously around her body as Onikaze glowed with a mixed light. The shadows around her intensifed as well her own with a lurid light. He backed away hands raised in front of him. NiGHTS had woken up and was looking confused as he looked back and forth between the two as he floated upside down in the air. "Did I miss something?"
Fara blinked and lowered the sword her silver eyes brimming with confusion and Enigma nearly fell on his face. That killed the moment, They both thought as they glared at each other leaving NiGHTS just as confused as before. Both turned away starting to walk off with NiGHTS flying close behind still prodding.
"Come on! What happened?"
~Reflection~
The living shadow waited, holding the wounded and knocked out ice maren. The image reflected nearly a hundred times down this hall of mirrors as lurid eyes searched its corridors. Stopping in the middle of mirrors on the ground, if his mouth was visible you could have seen him smile. A swirling vortex enveloped the mirrored floor its fog surrounded the demonic figure rising from the portal. Purple eyes gazed in good humor as the demoness looked over the surroundings. Red hair with the bangs in a curl bounced around her face and the two small ebony horns on her head.
"You were never much for decor, Shin-ku. I never thought you were the type to see yourself this much. Guess I'm wrong."
"That's not the point." He gestured at CStorm whom was still knocked out as well as several cuts on her body bled.
"What do you need her for, Byra? Vaati already has his hands full dealing with the dreamers and demons, he's going to fail soon anyway. Byra grinned, two sharp fangs glittered over tanned pale skin. Her tail twitched like a cat's as she walked up to Skin-ku grabbing him by the chin. His shadow form faded away showing the Green-brown haired blue eyed human beneath. He scowled at her and she snapped her fangs an inch from his face in a playful manner. He didn't even blink, she frowned and let go of his face. Aw, no fun.
"Or should I call you Masoku?" He winced at the name, it had bad memories a plenty.
"Don't call me that. Don't ever call me that you stupid succubis!" But he refrained and glared at her and repeated his question."What do you need her (as Masoku again gestured over at the ice maren) for?" He was starting getting sick of this demoness and her problems.
"It's not what I need her for, its more a question of...hmm... what are you going to do? Your Master (Masoku scoffed "Yeah right") is about to get his butt handed to him."
"Its not my problem anymore, I work for myself to my interests. At any level." Byra gave him another toothy grin her stance like a preditory cat.
"Oh really?" He gave her one look of hatred and contempt. She laughed.
"Not the way you are thinking."
"Hm." Byra walked away taking the maren with her. But throws back her head to glance at him.
"I'll send her where she can heal, that's about it. You do owe me, you do know that, right?"
"Feh."

~Wind Palace~
Monsters protected and transversed the hallways of the tower as the wind that flowed through the halls was starting to wane. A pair of purple eyes with matching hair scanned the area from the shadows. Wings, black as a raven's, were furrowed behind him. Perfect. Not one of these guards noticed as he slipped down the hall searching for the room. Those who did... Met demise by cold steel. Blue fire lit the halls with eerie glows, as the guards became sparcer and sparcer as he continued. Just a black blur to those who could see him.
The two moblins guarding the door spotted the guy. He was dressed in black with arms crossed, his sword in sheath and to top it all off. He was smirking. The two bulldog like monsters grinned at each other. What could be easier? Both took a step forward as they raised their weapons grunting something that could have meant this, "Is he stupid? Let's get him!" The one on the right took a stab with its spear, only to have it pulled out of its grasp and stabbed into him. The other started to panic and ran down the hall. Sucks to be you.
He grabbed the dropped key, and pushed it into the lock. The lock clicked and clattered to the floor. The sounds of someone trying to pound the hell out of the other side rang though as he opened the huge wooden door. Only to have the girl on the other side fall onto him. Grey eyes full of fury glared downward at him framed by light brown hair in a messy style. CLin was only a head shorter than him and was considering punching him in the face. He smirked. She glared. He got up and dusted himself off. She was considering dashing down the hall to the nearest exit. He grabbed her arm and gestured down the hallway. CLin kicked him in the shin and walked down in the direction he pointed, her hands down at her sides curled up in fists.
"Touch me again and the next will be below the belt." She walked on and grabbed the spear the other moblin dropped. He unsheathed his sword placing it at her back.
"I could just lock you back in the room and leave you for the mini mage." His smirk was getting on her nerves but he reminded her of someone.
"You could... So who do I have to thank for saving me." I could have done it myself with a little time.
"Link." CLin stared at him. Link? Mister save Hyrule, save Zelda, kill/seal Ganon, seal/kill Vaati, that Link? Legend of Zelda, Link? You missed me there.
"You're kidding me. You look more like Shadow to me." She crossed her arms and tryed to match his smirk. Shadow with wings is more like it. He scowled. Speaking of Four Swords Plus manga's Shadow Link.
"I'm not a shadow." He grabbed her arm and pulled her roughly down the hall. "The one you're thinking of is an imposter." I hope he knows which one he's talking about.
"Hold it buster! Its not the end of the world as we know it! You just remind me of him. Yeesh if you are the real thing, I don't surpose Zelda got the drag and go treatment." Usually.
"Shut up." CLin grinned, if anyone is to blame.
"Holla boy you ain't seen nothin' yet!" Blame the one who got me started.
"Just come on."
"What? Oh come on, how are the rest to know "that the princess is in another castle?"
"...Shut up and come on."
